Here is some important information regarding shipping packages and handling your mail during the current pandemic.

"In general, because of poor survivability of these coronaviruses on surfaces, there is likely very low risk of spread from products or packaging that are shipped over a period of days or weeks at ambient temperatures. Coronaviruses are generally thought to be spread most often by respiratory droplets. Currently there is no evidence to support transmission of COVID-19 associated with imported goods and there have not been any cases of COVID-19 in the United States associated with imported goods."

"Hard, shiny surfaces such as plastic, stainless steel, bench-tops, and likely glass can support infectious virus, expelled in droplets, for up to 72 hours. But the virus rapidly degrades during this time. On fibrous and absorbent surfaces such as cardboard, paper, fabric and hessian, it becomes inactive more quickly."

If you still have concerns about your order and contracting the virus through the mail, spray packages with disinfectant and wait to open for AT LEAST 24+ hours. Wash your hands immediately after handling and be sure not to touch your face or other surfaces before washing your hands.
